Double Laces Converse

A light that will shine

A light that will light up, have to eat;
Comfort, light and warmth-giving, it still dies.
A light that will light up, can not desire anything,
stand than where the master's will.

A light that will light up, which must comply,
that does not respect the light, just the ticket.
A light that will shine, add must bargain,
be nothing for others and power for themselves.

A light that will light up, may not even ask if it's lit
many or just one.
A light that will light up, who must rays
where it is needed, as it leaves his lane.

A light that will shine in master hands,
there is nothing, as only a reflection;
of eternal light shine may donate it to us,
a light that will shine for God alone.

(Christmas poem, author: Jadwiga Redern (1866 - 1935))
